Lenovo Unveils Transparent Concept Laptop
The hardware maker Lenovo exhibited at MWC its ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop Concept that features a transparent screen and keyboard. With AI-generated content, the transparent screen is designed to enable interaction with physical objects and overlaying digital information. Lenovo also unveiled its latest portfolio of AI devices, software and infrastructure.Samsung Shares Health Wearable

The Paris-based open-source large language model company Mistral AI introduced Mistral Large, its latest and “most advanced” language model. The model supports reasoning tasks, including text understanding, transformation and code generation. Mistral Large is available through distribution partner Microsoft Azure. NVIDIA, the Santa Clara, California-based AI chipmaker, is releasing its NVIDIA RTX 500 and 1000 Ada Generation Laptop GPUs for “highly portable” mobile workstations. The chips are designed to deliver advanced AI, compute and graphics horsepower for on-the-go professionals. The new GPUs will be available this spring in mobile workstations from Dell, HP, Lenovo and MSI.

Microsoft Publishes 'AI Access Principles'
Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft shared at MWC its “AI Access Principles” to govern how it operates its AI data center infrastructure and other AI assets around the world in a “new era based on artificial intelligence.” The principles represent Microsoft’s commitment to promote innovation and competition in AI as well as “broad technology access” to support the development and use of AI for “the public good.”Intel Expanding AI Line
The Santa Clara, California-based chipmaker Intel is introducing at MWC its latest AI products: its future Intel Xeon processor with built-in AI acceleration, with first-call validation by key partners; and its Intel Edge Platform, a modular and open software platform for companies to build, deploy and scale edge and AI solutions on standard hardware. Qualcomm Introduces New AI Products
Qualcomm, the San Diego-based chip designer, is sharing at MWC its latest AI offerings: its Qualcomm AI Hub, which features a library of over 75 pre-optimized AI models for deployment on devices powered by Snapdragon and Qualcomm platforms; Snapdragon X80 5G Modem-RF System, a 5G modem-to-antenna platform, which is designed for AI optimization; and Qualcomm FastConnect 7900, a mobile connectivity system for AI optimization and integrating Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth and Ultra Wideband technologies on a single chip.Reveleer Secures $65M
Glendale, California-based Reveleer, an AI health care data and analytics company, raised over $65 million in a financing round. The funds will position Reveleer, which has acquired two companies since 2022, to pursue “inorganic growth opportunities.” Reveleer, founded in 2009, uses natural language processing and AI to help health plans and providers with quality, risk and member management.NLX Raises $12M
New York-based NLX, a conversational AI platform for customer experience, secured $12 million in Series A financing. NLX, founded in 2018, will use the funds for market expansion, hiring and developing its no-code technology. The company names Red Bull, Comcast and United as users. FlowGPT Nets $10M
FlowGPT, an open-source community for AI app creators, raised $10 million in a pre-Series A round. The user base of FlowGPT, launched in 2023, has developed over 100,000 AI applications, the company says. FlowGPT will use the funds to expand its engineering and research teams globally as well as further develop its community. "We believe the biggest future for AI is in open ecosystems," said Coddy Johnson, a partner at Goodwater Capital, a Burlingame, California-based investment firm.
Composable Prompts Lands $4M
New York-based Composable Prompts, an enterprise application platform for LLMs, received $4 million in seed funding. The end-to-end platform by Composable Prompts, which launched in 2024, is designed to govern, secure and orchestrate LLMs, supporting various models and execution providers and using virtualization. Sébastien Lefebvre, a partner at Elaia, a Paris-based venture capital firm, said the platform is addressing market needs, such as "removing the friction" to adopt LLMs as well as reducing the cost to operate and maintain "the exponentially growing number of applications that are leveraging LLMs."
