Bearing AI Names CCO

PALO ALTO, Calif. — The maritime AI company Bearing AI hired a leader to drive its global commercial functions, market expansion and revenue growth.

Bearing AI named Niels Snog its chief commercial officer (CCO), according to the company last week.

Most recently, Snog served as CCO at ZeroNorth, a green shipping company.

Snog's experience will help Bearing AI "aggressively scale," said Dylan Keil, CEO, Bearing AI.

Snog has experience in international sales leadership and business development for maritime shipping and software products.

At ZeroNorth, Snog led go-to market strategies and scaled a global sales team to attract new customers and drive revenue.

Previously, Snog served as VP and CCO at Wrist Ship Supply and CEO of Garrets International, according to LinkedIn.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a sales coordinator for Dansk Supermarked Group.

He studied sales and marketing at Aarhus University in Denmark.

Snog said "the world's shipping companies increasingly embrace new technologies to optimize fleet decision making."
