CHICAGO — The global public relations agency Golin appointed a leader to accelerate its “transformation” into a “fully AI-integrated” company.

Golin, part of Interpublic Group, named Jeff Beringer its first chief AI officer, according to the agency last month.

The role "underscores" Golin's commitment to integrating AI across "all aspects" of its business operations and client services. The position reports to Gary Rudnick, COO at Golin.

Most recently, Beringer served as global president of Digital at Golin.

“Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work, communicate and create,” said Matt Neale, CEO, Golin, noting the agency is focused on "future-forward solutions."

Rudnick added that Golin's founder, Al Golin, "always said, 'fix it before it breaks' — get a ahead of change rather than be disrupted by it."

As chief AI officer, Beringer is responsible for driving AI innovation, upskilling Golin’s workforce and helping design AI-driven client service models. He'll also collaborate with Interpublic Group to leverage assets, technologies and strategic partnerships to support teams and clients.

Beringer is a 20-year veteran of Golin. He spearheaded initiatives that optimized operations, enhanced client services and fostered innovation. He also helped introduce AI-powered innovations and tools to "uplevel Golin’s approach" to content testing, campaign and reputation measurement, influencer identification and impact and misinformation detection.

Beringer said he's "honored to work alongside our global teams to help drive the agency’s next transformation.”
