Pax8 named Eric Stevens its chief AI officer, according to the company last month.

In the newly created role, he reports to Scott Chasin, CEO of Pax8.

As chief AI officer, Stevens is responsible for leading a dedicated AI team and teams in data analytics, engineering and science to drive the innovation of Pax8's marketplace. He's also charged with helping ensure Pax8 effectively adheres to any government and industry regulations.

Previously, Stevens served as director of engineering and architecture at Verizon and VP of engineering and principal software architect at ProtectWise.

He holds a B.S. in computer science from Millersville University.

“AI is about to completely revolutionize the world," Stevens said, calling the role an "incredible opportunity and exciting challenge."
