Which AI video generators are users adopting in the AI market?
Just as artificial intelligence (AI) allows computers to produce human-sounding text, the technology can also generate video with audio — from text prompts, documents or other images — allowing companies to create professional-video, without the time and expense required by traditional video production. Several applications will help teams and organizations create video content, complete with photo-realistic avatars and narration in a wide range of languages. Here, we look at some of top video generators publicly available in the AI market.

1. Synthesia

Synthesia allows companies to create professional-quality videos and have them narrated by human-appearing AI-generated avatars. Users can write their own scripts or use an AI text generator to create them. The company offers a choice of more than 160 avatars of different ages and ethnic backgrounds, or users can create their own, even using their own voice. Narration and voice-overs are available in more than 130 languages. Videos can be customized with different colors, fonts and layouts. Subscriptions are currently available at $22 or $67 a month, with custom enterprise packages available.

2. Colossyan

Colossyan can create video from text in minutes and auto-translate to dozens of languages. It is designed for creating videos for employee onboarding, customer education, compliance training, internal communications and sales. It offers a series of templates customers can choose from. It allows users to turn their PDFs and Powerpoint slides into videos. It offers a range of avatars and lets users change their accents and clothing. The company currently offers subscriptions at $19 or $61 a month, along with customized enterprise packages.

Avatars are diverse in gender and ethnicity and can appear in business, casual or other outfits. An app is available for Microscoft, Android and Apple platforms. Plans are currently available for $19.90 a month, $199 a year or $259 a year.

4. HeyGen

HeyGen allows users to generate videos for product overviews, scaled outreach and learning and development. Users can choose from more than 100 avatars or create their own, choose from a collection of high-quality voices or record their own and use a template or build their own design from scratch. Avatars cover various ethnicities, ages and styles. They include custom instant avatars in a natural setting, high-quality studio avatars for a variety of applications and animations of photographs. An AI-driven text reader gives text human-like intonation and inflections. There are currently versions for free, $24 a month, $120 a month or custom.

5. Atlabs

Atlabs can create a video in two minutes and requires no sophisticated equipment or technical skills. An AI script writer allows users to import their own content or generate a script with a prompt stating their goals in a few words. The application can automatically create or find assets needed for the video and allows users to create branded graphics. Voice-overs can use more than 40 languages, and captions can be auto-synced. Users can change the aspect ratios of their videos and export them. Different versions are currently free, $30 or $75 a month or custom.

6. Hour One

Hour One is a text-to-video generator for creating content for learning and development, product marketing, sales and customer support. Users can write their own script, generate it from one of their documents or use AI to write it. They can select templates and avatars, then customize them to match the brand. Enterprise customization includes realistic customized avatars, fully customized branded templates and AI tools to streamline workflows. The application can be integrated with a company’s learning resource system or customer relationship management (CRM) system. The video editor comes with more than 30 tools, allowing users to do a variety of tasks, such as removing backgrounds, adding subtitles or exporting transcripts, in the same app. Users can start with a video on their iPhone or desktop or shoot a new video in the app, then transform the input video with a text prompt or a pre-set style.
