- Apple Intelligence uses on-device processing, and many of the models that power it run on the device.
- Private Cloud Compute extends the privacy and security of Apple devices into the cloud for "more intelligence." Users’ cloud data is never stored or shared with Apple; it is used to fulfill their request.
- Independent experts can inspect the code that runs on Apple servers to verify privacy.
- Users can choose if they enable ChatGPT integration. If they use ChatGPT without signing up, their IP addresses are obscured, and OpenAI won’t store requests. For those who connect to their ChatGPT account, OpenAI’s data-use policies apply.
