Sarah Lindenfeld Hall is a longtime journalist and versatile freelance writer with more than a decade of experience writing about business operations and talent management.

Before wading into content writing, Sarah worked as a newspaper staff writer for more than a dozen years, covering city politics, neighborhood squabbles, urban development and a loose emu running through rural farmland. She then moved seamlessly into the online space where she created two revenue-generating parenting sites for media outlets in Raleigh, N.C., including WRAL-TV, the local NBC affiliate. For nearly a decade, she appeared on weekly live TV segments.

She’s also written for Insider, Parents.com, Mashable, NBC News, Chicago Health, Eating Well, Fast Company, NC State magazine, Virginia Magazine, Princeton Alumni Weekly, Costco Connection and the American Association of School Administrators, among other outlets. She often writes about caregiving, health, education and sports.

Her business clients have included Lattice, Salesforce, Korn Ferry, Forbes Content Studio, Masthead Media, Studio/B, Society for Human Resource Management, Bluebeam, Gusto and a variety of startups. Her content projects often cover B2B technology, the future of work, business management, workforce retention, small business growth, corporate governance and change management.

A Central New York native, Sarah graduated from the University of Virginia with majors in music and history. She lives with her family in North Carolina where she enjoys long walks, bike rides, kayaking and baking pumpkin chocolate chip bread.
