REDMOND, Wash. — The AI data company Centific appointed an executive to spearhead the strategic direction of its data and AI operations and focus on refining its flagship platforms.
Centific named Vasudevan Sundarababu its chief data and AI officer, according to the company last week.
Most recently, Sundarababu served as SVP and head of digital engineering at Centific.
"Vasu's visionary leadership has been a game-changer for us," said Venkat Rangapuram, CEO of Centific, calling the promotion "strategic for the entire trajectory of our company."

Sundarababu has over 25 years of experience building data and AI platforms.
Previously, Sundarababu served as global head of cloud data platforms, financial services, insights and data at Capgemini, SVP and CTO at Movate, consulting partner at Wipro and director at FICO.
He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science from Loyola College in Chennai, India, an M.S. in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an executive M.B.A. from the Indian School of Business.
