SAN JOSE, Calif. — The AI data security and management company Cohesity appointed an executive to oversee its workforce.
Cohesity named Rebecca Adams its chief people officer, according to a LinkedIn post by Adams last month.
Most recently, Adams served as SVP of people and workplace and chief of staff to the CEO at Cohesity.
She started at Cohesity in 2022 as VP and CxO of operations and chief of staff to the CEO.

Previously, at VMware, Adams served as VP of executive customer relationships and go-to-market operations as well as chief of staff to the COO and customer operations.
At SAP, Adams served as VP and chief of staff of applications and platform solutions, senior director of ecosystem and channels marketing and head of analytics products communications.
She holds a B.A. in speech communication from Bridgewater State University.
