NEW YORK — The consulting firm PwC appointed a C-suite executive to lead its U.S. operation and clients in navigating AI and using the technology for strategic transformations.
PwC named Dan Priest its chief AI officer, according to the firm last month.
Most recently, Priest served as cloud and digital market leader at PwC, according to LinkedIn. He started at the firm in 2012.
"Last year was about exploring generative AI's potential and ability to shape and disrupt how business is done," Priest said. "Going forward, we are focused on unlocking the transformative power of AI to help our clients achieve advantage in an increasingly competitive market."

Priest has over 25 years of experience in strategy, operations and technology leadership.
Previously, Priest served as VP and CIO at Toyota Financial Services and principal at Booz & Company.
Early is his career, he served as a consultant at EDS and director of operations at MHM Services, a health care services provider.
He holds a bachelor's degree in international business and Japanese from Cal State Fullerton and Nanzan University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
