Bhaskar Sunkara is co-founder and chief technology officer of AppDynamics. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s customer-centric product strategy and leads its global product management, operations, and engineering functions. Bhaskar, who holds several patents, co-founded AppDynamics with Jyoti Bansal in 2008. Under his leadership, the company pioneered a revolutionary approach to business performance with Business Transactions and delivered industry-leading solutions. Now, more than 1,800 companies have deployed AppDynamics to accelerate their digital transformations.
Over his career, Bhaskar has married product strategy and execution strategy to develop products that are trusted by CIOs and built for the demands of the world’s largest enterprises. Before AppDynamics, he worked at Wily Technology as the lead engineer and was responsible for one of its most successful products. Bhaskar began his career at Pramati Technologies, where he served in a variety of engineering leadership roles. Bhaskar earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science and engineering from Madras University.
