Amazon will invest $48 billion in India between 2026 and 2030, significantly expanding its AI infrastructure, cloud services and ecommerce operations in one of the world's fastest-growing digital economies. CEO Andy Jassy announced the investment after meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on June 25, 2026.
The company said $13 billion of the commitment will fund AI and cloud infrastructure, bringing Amazon's planned AI and cloud investment in India to more than $21 billion over the period. By 2030, Amazon said its cumulative investments in India since entering the market in 2010 will exceed $88 billion.
